PR Professionals

Foster the Future is a collaborative initiative between communications agency partners to mobilize our industry for transformative change.

A 2022 survey conducted by the Diversity Action Alliance across nearly 20,000 PR and communications organizations in the U.S. found that only 29% of employees were ethnically and racially diverse. Within those organizations' leadership positions, that percentage drops to just 17%.

Our initiative aims to change that, and to use our collective resources and voices to create lasting, positive impacts in our industry.

Our Fellowship program launched in 2022 with four agencies sponsoring scholarships and fellowships for diverse college students interested in the field of communications. Our Sponsorship program focuses on accelerating career paths for mid-level diverse candidates within organizations, and our Mentorship Network of seasoned communications leaders supports sponsorship participants in their career growth.
